Job Summary
Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the LEAP curriculum. Support early language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Maintain consistent routines including meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest time. Observe and document developmental progress and communicate regularly with families regarding daily routines and milestones. Guide and support assistant teachers to maintain classroom consistency and ensure compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing and school standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in an early childhood education setting required
- Lead Teacher qualified under Wisconsin childcare licensing preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Early Childhood Education coursework or degree a plus
- Previous toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
