Job Summary
Lead a 2-year-old classroom in The Learning Experience – Owings Mills, delivering daily lessons aligned with the LEAP Curriculum and supporting toddlers’ language, movement, creativity, and exploration. Manage routines (meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, rest) and foster peer interaction, self-help and emotional development. Maintain licensing and quality standards through collaboration with teaching teams, and communicate progress with families. Utilize developmentally appropriate practices to guide learning in a structured, play-based setting and contribute to ongoing training and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet Maryland Infant and Toddler and Preschool Teacher licensing requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in an early childhood classroom
- High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
