Job Summary
Promote learning and growth of preschool students in an inclusive setting by delivering high-quality instruction, using data to drive instruction, and providing both IEP-based and behavior-related supports. Develop well-structured lessons and units, administer formal and informal assessments, and analyze data to tailor differentiated interventions. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development; maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with IEP timelines, and participate in team meetings. Maintain high expectations, foster a safe and culturally proficient learning environment, and leverage technology and instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with and without disabilities. Demonstrate professional integrity, confidentiality, and reliable attendance, while engaging in ongoing professional development and school-wide collaboration to promote student learning.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in Massachusetts (Grades PreK-2) and licensed by DESE as a Special Education Teacher covering Grade Pre-K.
- SEI Endorsement on License required
- Bachelor’s or higher earned academic degree
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) Strongly Preferred
