Job Summary
Early Childhood Education Homemaker position focusing on preparing meals and snacks for children under MAOF programs. Responsibilities include daily meal preparation, snacks, temperature checks of food, serving lunch, dishwashing and sanitation, production records (monthly), inventory management, ordering supplies, maintaining a clean kitchen, adhering to health and safety procedures, wearing appropriate attire, providing warm and respectful interaction with children, attending staff meetings (in-person or virtual), and completing trainings to maintain effective nutrition practices under CACFP guidelines. Requires bilingual Spanish/English, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work Monday through Friday, strong organizational and administrative skills, proficiency in reading/writing/math, excellent customer service and problem resolution skills, and willingness to meet background checks, Live Scan, and driver requirements; must have own vehicle and California driver�s license with the ability to drive/travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bi-lingual Spanish/ English required
- Must pass T.B. test, drug screening and physical examination
- Successful background and criminal clearance required
- Must possess own vehicle, a valid California Driver�s License
- Ability to drive and travel, as required
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet
