Early Childhood Education - Forensic Investigator

Job Summary
As an Early Childhood Education Forensic Expert, you investigate early childhood facility and/or home-based programs injuries, incidents, and abuse; analyze site procedures with knowledge of standards and practices; write clear, scientifically sound reports; provide expert testimony; travel ~20% for training and site inspections; hybrid work arrangement in Las Vegas, NV or Dallas/Fort Worth/Irving, TX; requires a Bachelor’s in ECE and a Master’s in ECE or related field (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
- 8+ years of day-to-day Director/Supervisory experience in a facility for early childhood care
- teaching experience with early childhood (including infant-toddler) populations
- experience investigating incidents related to child injury and staff misconduct (including suspected physical/sexual assaults or child abuse)
- experience with private, faith-based, in-home childcare, summer camp, school-age care, elementary and/or special education populations is a plus
- current & relevant training/certifications in early childhood care and education
- in-depth knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, best practices, and current trends
- excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
- roughly 20% travel for training & site inspections; independent and collaborative work style
- clean background screen, a driver’s license, and the ability to drive
