Job Summary
Join Kids First team in Warren, AR or Mountain View, AR as an Early Childhood Development Specialist to provide individualized developmental services for young children with special healthcare needs. Responsibilities include ensuring quality developmental services, supporting the academic mission of the Kids First program, maintaining professionalism and ongoing skill development, administering standardized developmental testing instruments, building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care. Requires a Bachelor's degree plus one of the specified certificates/credentials, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role includes pre-employment screening and opportunities to support families and children through developmental interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education Certificate OR Child Development Associate Certificate OR Birth to Pre-K Credential WITH documentation that 12 hours of experience working with children with special needs and 12 hours of coursework in early childhood or related fields PLUS six months of experience working with children
