Job Summary
ECD Nurse collaborates with pediatric providers to improve care coordination across IHC sites, standardize screenings for children 0-5, implement motivational interviewing and SDOH screenings, educate staff, and connect families with local partners (WIC, Head Start, Help Me Grow). Responsibilities include ensuring proper screening and referral of children 0-5, educating parents on screenings, vaccinations, literacy and dental health, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, following HIPAA/OSHA standards, and supporting care teams to meet grant objectives. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active Indiana RN/LPN licensure; preferred experience in pediatrics, vaccines, quality control, and education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Licensed RN OR Licensed Practical Nurse and licensed in the state of Indiana
- Experience in pediatrics, vaccines, quality control, and education preferred
