Job Summary
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the operational functions of the Early Childhood Preschool Program; ensures compliance with State and District regulations; provides training and oversight of daily operations; manages the program budget and funding applications; develops and implements educational programs for preschool children to meet emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs; collaborates with Head Start and community organizations; conducts recruitment and staff supervision; maintains records for the special education program and I.E.P processes; ensures safety, sanitation, and orderliness of facilities; maintains communication with parents and professional staff regarding child progress; builds partnerships to maximize agency services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- A valid Arizona Early Childhood Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience in Early Childhood
- Knowledge of Arizona Daycare Licensing requirements
- Knowledge of AZ Quality First requirements
- Knowledge of child find and transition from part B to C
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
