Job Summary

Conduct practice-based coaching to develop individual coaching plans with specific goals based on classroom observations. Coordinate and oversee the practice-based coaching system while developing schedules for classroom observations and providing constructive feedback to Head Start staff. Model teaching practices, distribute research-based resources, and present small group workshops on child development topics aligned with Head Start Performance Standards and Creative Curriculum. Travel between sites as needed and report safety or compliance concerns immediately to leadership. Maintain positive relationships with classroom staff, manage data collection, and participate in program and collaborative meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • three (3) years' experience teaching young children
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with WORD
  • Experience with EXCEL
  • Experience with POWERPOINT
  • Ability to manage database systems
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check
  • Child Protective Service registry clearance
  • Must have and maintain valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Must be willing to travel locally and overnight

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous Early Head Start or Head Start experience
  • Experience in practice-based coaching
  • Other work with adult learners
