Job Summary
Assist in planning, executing, and operating a high-quality early-learning classroom for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old while promoting YMCA core values. Build relationships with families and members to create a supportive community environment, and assist in recruiting new families. Comply with EEC licensing procedures, NAEYC criteria, and MA Curriculum Frameworks, providing reasonable accommodations for children with disabilities. Work with the Early Learning Director to maintain safe, clean, and attractive facilities, and engage in supervising volunteers. Support YMCA fundraising activities and collaborative relationships with community organizations. This part-time role at the South Shore YMCA Early Learning Center in Hanover, MA, requires flexibility for morning, afternoon, or specific day patterns between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, currently attending high school or graduated, and pass a background check including fingerprinting.
