Job Summary
Support teachers and teaching assistants in creating a safe, nurturing learning environment for 3- to 5-year-old children. Assist with implementing lesson plans, prepare materials, supervise children, maintain classroom routines, encourage positive interactions, and document daily activities. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2,500 hours of professional child-care experience, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain background checks, and pre-employment physical and TB testing. Part-time role, Monday through Friday, 1PM–6PM, 20–30 hours per week; compensation $18–$20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2,500 hours (2 years) of documented experience working with children in a professional capacity
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain valid background checks
- Pre-employment physical & TB test
- Must be 18 years of age or older
