Job Summary
Early Career Software Developer - Test Framework at GM Canada. Develop automation features and tools using Python and Robot Framework to enable test automation across automotive software development. Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and improve automation libraries and framework capabilities; participate in code reviews; debug automation issues; contribute to Scrum ceremonies; work with cross-functional teams across GM to deliver scalable automation solutions for embedded platform software. Requires a Bachelor's/Master’s/PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, graduating 2025–2026, and eligibility to work in Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with reporting to the Markham Elevation Centre at least three times per week. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Must be graduating between December 2025 and August 2026
- Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
