Job Summary
Operate production equipment for processing cell sexing technology and provide accurate, timely packaging of bovine semen following ABS standards. Maintain lab documentation, adhere to cleaning and sterilization protocols, and communicate issues to leads or supervisors. Perform assigned duties based on daily production needs while following safe work procedures and reporting incidents. Learn ancillary processes as business needs necessitate and provide ideas for work environment improvements. Work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday) for three months, with additional weekday hours available based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess or be working toward a local High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in and attending a local course of education either in high school, GED program, technical college or university.
- Must live locally, no relocation authorized for this role.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift/transfer 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on always maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard, and mouse to accomplish work tasks (includes but is not limited to the ability to look at computer monitor screens for the entirety of assigned shift).
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
