Job Summary
Attend Emerging Market fixed income team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management. Support the team in researching EM countries, financial statements, and market data while joining regular meetings to understand top-down macro investment processes. Prepare presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders, seeking mentor feedback to support learning and growth. Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to develop technical and professional skills. This 9-week summer internship runs June 2027–August 2027 in New York, with a potential full-time offer after graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
- Rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated interest in investments
- Must be able to work in Invesco's New York office
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
- Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Prior internship in investment management
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel
