Job Summary
Build knowledge of leveraged finance, CLO, and high yield bond markets by analyzing investment opportunities and making decisions within those sectors. Develop credit analysis and financial modeling skills to assist in preparing credit proposals, including company and industry analysis, capital structure evaluation, and cash flow projections. Monitor existing transactions through historical financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and assessments of internal and external ratings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks, attend meetings, and present findings to management. Prepare presentations and summaries for stakeholders while researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data. Work in the Invesco New York office as part of the broadly syndicated bank loan team within the Senior Secured Management platform.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2027
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Must be able to work in Invesco's New York office
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
- A demonstrated interest in investments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
- Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Prior internship in investment management
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, C++, Racket, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel
