Job Summary
Early Career Engineer sought to tackle diverse engineering projects with a focus on reclamation of abandoned mine lands. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, investigation, design, and construction oversight of AML projects; supporting site assessments and geotechnical investigations; assisting in design of mine opening closures, regrading activities, and drainage/conveyance systems; applying data-driven approaches to infrastructure and mining/water systems challenges. Requirements include a BS or MS in civil, environmental, or mining engineering from ABET-accredited program, at least 1 year of mining engineering experience, proficiency with mining-related software (AutoCAD Map 3D, Carlson, ArcGIS Pro), and NEPA knowledge. Location: Cheyenne, WY; in-person work arrangement. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of science or Master of science degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering from an ABET accredited university
- A minimum of 1 year of mining engineering work experience
- At least 1 year of experience using mining-related software such as AutoCAD Map 3D, Carlson, ArcGIS Pro
- A minimum of 1 year of experience interpreting and applying the guidelines in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
