Job Summary

Execute standard engineering assignments across design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, and field task execution. Evaluate electrical systems against applicable standards, human factors, and maintenance best practices while developing awareness of government and industry regulations. Under mentor guidance, select and apply standard techniques to resolve field problems and quality events, overseeing new installations, system integration, and troubleshooting. Utilize CAD modeling and programming skills to prepare specifications and support senior staff in minor adaptations to standard procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted
  • Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
  • Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills
  • Instrumentation & controls and/or power systems experience
  • Design/program industrial PLCs - specifically Allen-Bradley, but doesn't have to be exclusive
  • Evaluate electrical systems toward applicable electrical standards, human factors, installation/cost, and maintenance best practices
  • Oversee field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting
  • Offers are contingent on background check and drug screen (where applicable)
