Job Summary
Manage daily Early Autism Program operations by supervising teachers, assigning caseloads and schedules, and coordinating communication with families, school districts, counties, and funding agencies. Conduct developmental evaluations through the Developmental Evaluation Center and maintain a caseload of parent training and consultation services. Support clinical and educational accountability, manage the program waitlist, assist with budget development, and ensure regulatory compliance and student safety. Maintain rights of individuals being served and develop program policies and procedures. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 37.5 hours weekly. Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in speech, education, school psychology or other related field
- Doctorate in psychology, speech, education or other related field
- 3 years experience with autism and/or Applied Behavior Analysis
- Maintains Certification as a Special Education Teacher with Students with Disabilities Birth – Grade 2 certification
- maintains NYS Licensure as a psychologist or Speech Language Pathologist
- License-eligible candidates must be working under a limited permit and must receive license within two years of employment
- Maintains membership in one or more professional organizations related to autism, early childhood education or professional practice
- OCFS (Office of Child & Family Services) fingerprint clearance
