Job Summary
Provide short-term counselling to a varied client base with diverse issues using solution-focused approaches and brief interventions. Manage administrative requirements efficiently through clinical templates and technology tools designed to simplify note-taking. Participate in team meetings and peer groups to engage in open discussions and share expertise. Adapt clinical interventions to fit your personal style while relying on peer support and online training to deliver high-quality service. Maintain proficiency in French and manage a high volume of clients with strong time management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Social Worker, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Psychoeducator or Sexologist
- Master's or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field
- Registered member in good standing with the OPQ, OTSTCFQ, OPPQ or OPSQ
- At least five years of clinical experience
- Ability to set short-term goals and use a solution-focused approach
- Ability to manage crisis or high-risk situations
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency in French
