Job Summary
Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications using calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects and document results in detailed reports while maintaining compliance with ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to analyze root causes of non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Work the night shift from 2pm to 1am Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, analysis and report generation
- Schedule: 2pm-1am Monday-Thursday
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauging fixtures, etc.
