E01-C02 Skilled Draftsman

Create detailed technical drawings and schematics for IT-based systems in accordance with military standards (DODi and Air Force AFI’s). Ensure all drawings comply with Air Force specifications and standards. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy of drawings. Utilize MS Visio to produce precise and high-quality technical drawings. Review and update existing drawings to reflect design or requirement changes. Maintain an organized repository of drawings. Provide training and guidance to junior draftsmen on military standards and best practices. Participate in design reviews and meetings, documenting discussions and decisions related to technical drawings. Ensure proper storage and archiving per records management procedures. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency in documentation workflows. Provide technical support to operational strategies within the program to optimize processes and quality. Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded. Identify opportunities for growth within the work area. Participate in growth efforts as requested. Ensure all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer’s satisfaction. Complete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on). Execute contract requirements per contract-specific LCAT. Perform other related duties as assigned.
