Job Summary
To clean all assigned areas in accordance with department policies and procedures, providing a safe, clean, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning furniture, floors, restrooms, sinks, curtains, equipment, and rooms; following Environmental Services / Sodexo Shine cleaning procedures; cleaning and disinfecting according to infection control standards; handling beds, cribs, and transport of furniture as needed; performing daily and terminal cleaning of patient rooms and isolation areas; replenishing supplies; reporting needed repairs; and adapting schedule to meet department needs. Requires familiarity with PPE and adherence to hospital policies, with focus on maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices. Education and/or experience requirement notes less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Driscoll Health System context provided.
