Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and family support in a developmentally, culturally, and ethically appropriate manner. Perform essential treatments including IVs, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, wound care, and assist physicians with fracture reduction and cast application. Process medical orders, label specimens accurately, and document all care via Point of Care Testing. Transport medications securely and maintain adequate supply levels. Requires current Nursing Assistant certification and BLS training. Full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement matching.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly
