Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to an assigned group under the direction of the Registered Nurse, ensuring a safe environment that maintains patient dignity and confidentiality. Collaborate closely with hospital staff, physicians, and visitors while utilizing electronic medical records with basic computer skills. Maintain constant alertness as a safety-sensitive position, adhering to strict drug-free policies. Complete BLS certification within 30 days of hire. This role supports patient treatment and recovery within the diverse clientele of Jefferson Regional Emergency Department.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification within 30 days upon hire
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for the electronic medical record
- Valid Arkansas Drivers' License
- This position is a Safety Sensitive Position
- This position prohibits the current use of any illegal drugs
