E/PC Technician - FT - Eve - Danbury

Assist the Emergency Department team by providing quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Prepare patients for exams, transport them to testing and in-patient units, and perform phlebotomy, EKGs, blood sugars, and bladder scans. Maintain treatment areas by checking stock and supplies, ensure equipment is available and in working order, and conduct hourly rounding with constant communication regarding patient status changes. Document all task completion and patient care interactions while participating in complex patient care such as trauma and cardiac arrest scenarios. Fulfill mandatory continuing education, attend staff meetings, and complete all compliance responsibilities.
