Job Summary
Electronics and Instrumentation Technician responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading, repairing and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on production process equipment, instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure a quality product. Requires knowledge of DC/AC circuits, 3-phase AC power, DC/AC motor theory, PLCs, instrument loop sheets and electrical drawings; ability to troubleshoot PLC programs; use of standard hand tools and meters; maintenance of safe, organized work areas; collaboration with maintenance team, operators, engineers, mechanics. Shift options include rotating 4 days on/4 days off or Monday–Friday day shifts; overtime and emergency call-in work may be required. Location: Greer, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology or an equivalent Technical College Curriculum or equivalent training as obtained via the Military
- Prior Applicable Industrial Maintenance experience (minimum 2 years)
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills
- Willingness to work rotating 4 days on – 4 days off shift or 2) M-F day shift
- Willing to work overtime and emergency call-in work as needed
