Job Summary
Electrical and instrumentation technician role at Marathon Pipe Line’s Texas City Docks and NGL Complex in Texas City, TX. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and system development for PLCs, SCADA, and communications systems; ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation; work in collaboration with SCADA and Engineering personnel; travel and overtime may be required; candidate should live within 45 minutes of Texas City location.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Associate’s degree in a technical field and/or Journeyman level qualified preferred but not required
- A valid driver's license is required
- Proficiency in basic computer skills is expected
- Previous pipeline experience preferred, with emphasis on electrical/instrumentation/mechanical
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
