E&I Technician II --Plant 2 - B Shift

Job Summary
The E&I Technician II is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and distributive control equipment. Key responsibilities include performing electrical preventive maintenance, utilizing PLC/DCS control logic for diagnostics, completing work-orders, addressing safety hazards, and operating various industrial equipment. The role requires knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to read technical documentation, and the capacity to work safely in challenging environments. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in dusty, noisy conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
- Ability to diagnose problems with programmable controllers on equipment and operate electrical testing equipment.
- Working knowledge of Servo Systems.
- Must understand solid state circuitry and 24V, 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V systems.
