Job Summary
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. The role involves conducting electrical planning, preventative maintenance, and programming for PLC systems and calibrating electronic devices. A flexible schedule is required and includes off shifts and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of equivalent experience programming, troubleshooting and repairing PLC’s
- Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles
- High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances
- Comprehension of electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID drawing
- Experienced in different brands of variable frequency drives
- Experienced with maintenance, set-up, and calibration of all types of process instrumentation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration
- AS-i/Profibus networks
