Job Summary

Plan and supervise daily electrical and instrumentation installation works for heavy industrial projects, including Lockout Tagout, duct banks, cable pulling, and process instrument testing. Direct subordinate foremen and craft employees while determining construction methods, safety procedures, manpower levels, and material quantities. Coordinate assigned tasks with various crafts, company departments, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety policies, drawings, and project schedules. Conduct field safety audits, resolve construction and safety issues, and assist in accident investigations as required. Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and purchasing to support craft activities and project timelines. Full-time role with a hiring range of $60.00–$70.00 per hour. Requires a Washington State electrical license and 6+ years of facility experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience in similar facility, including construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures
  • 1+ years' experience supervising craft employees
  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Current Washington State (EL01) General Journey Level electrical license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of electrical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of industry hand and power tools
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control
  • Ability to supervise large groups
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Must obtain and maintain active status within the drug testing program
  • Ability to walk into and out of the project via turnstile access
  • Extensive walking in and around a construction site
  • Tasks at heights including climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, and working on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to work in small or confined spaces
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task
  • Ability to be fit tested for and use a respirator
  • Ability to perform work outside, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
