Job Summary

Plan and supervise daily electrical and instrumentation installation activities for heavy industrial projects, including lockout tagout, grounding, duct banks, cable pulling, and process instrument testing. Direct subordinate foremen and craft employees while coordinating work with engineering, estimating, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety policies, drawings, and schedules. Conduct field safety audits, resolve construction problems, and assist in accident investigations as required. Maintain liaison with material control and purchasing to support project timelines and document actual hours worked. This role requires a current Washington State electrical license and 6+ years of facility experience. Full-time employees earn $60.00-70.00 per hour and receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience in similar facility, including construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures
  • 1+ years' experience supervising craft employees
  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Must hold current Washington State (EL01) General Journey Level electrical license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of electrical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of industry hand and power tools
  • Complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client/Site specific training
  • Must obtain and maintain active status within the drug testing program
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control
  • Ability to supervise large groups
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • good computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project via turnstile access
  • Extensive walking in and around a construction site
  • Tasks at heights including climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, and working on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to work in small or confined spaces
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task
  • Ability to be fit tested for and use a respirator
  • Ability to perform work outside, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
