Job Summary
Navigate process control systems and associated field devices, assessing, programming, and repairing PLCs, HMIs, drives, and other control systems. Act as a consultant to operations and maintenance teams to identify and troubleshoot issues across paper machine operations, secondary fiber processing, and utility systems. Support capital projects installations, manage system changes by backing up programs and updating documentation, and assist with periodic shutdowns and long-term planning. Contribute to reliability programs including thermography, ultrasound, and motor analysis. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 1-3+ years of electrical maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting skills in industrial communications and robotics. Located in Pryor, Oklahoma.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls/instrumentation/technician
- 1-3+ years' experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, calibrations, industrial communications, robotics, motion control and AC/DC control power
- Programming experience includes the ability to create, monitor, modify PLC and DCS control logic
- Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors to ensure the proper execution of work
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Desired Qualifications
- Paper manufacturing or other industrial manufacturing experience preferred
