Job Summary
Monitor daily project activity and assume overall responsibility for profitable, safe, and timely completion of industrial instrument and electrical construction projects. Review proposals, determine cost-effective construction methods, and approve subcontractor selections and invoicing while coordinating activities with owners, engineers, and suppliers. Manage project staff including superintendents and foremen, enforce safety protocols, and negotiate change orders to adjust budgets and work scopes. Ensure accurate billing, manage material deliveries, and lead project coordination meetings to maintain efficiency. Review and approve payment applications, maintain complete as-built drawings, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires 3+ years managing large E&I projects and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3 plus years' experience managing large Industrial instrument and electrical construction projects
- Demonstrated success in management of construction projects
- Valid Driver's License
- Possess working knowledge of all projects plans, specifications, Owner Contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittals and all other project related documents and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built drawings
- Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
- Self-motivated with skills to motivate others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
- Must complete pre-employment screenings such as a background check and drug screen
