Job Summary
Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain PLC systems, single-loop controls, and analog instruments while installing, calibrating, and repairing final control elements like pneumatic and electric valves. Conduct routine regulatory calibration for boilers and environmental systems, read loop sheets and P&IDs, and interpret electrical schematics. Perform maintenance on AC/DC drive systems, switches, sensors, and 480V–13.8kV power distribution switchgear, strictly adhering to NFPA70E arc flash and shock hazard requirements. Train on the 1st shift with potential to move to the 3rd shift, working rotating schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Eligible for employment in the US
- 3+ years of instrumentation and electrical experience
- Comfort working in industrial conditions (heat, dust, chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, heights, confined spaces—training/PPE provided)
- Completion of technical online testing, interview, and hands-on skills assessment
- Ability to work any/rotating shifts, frequent overtime (short notice), weekends, and holidays
- Consistent use of required PPE
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree and/or certifications in Industrial Maintenance or related E&I disciplines
- 5+ years of instrumentation and electrical experience
- Industrial manufacturing background
- Proficiency in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, 120/208/240/480V systems, electrical repair
- Experience with PLCs
