Job Summary
Adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies while completing cutting, threading, bending, and assembling rigid, aluminum, and conduit systems. Install and maintain EMT, PVC piping, batteries, solar panels, voltage regulators, MCC equipment, heat trace, and VFDs. Interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to execute installations and troubleshooting. Test electrical equipment for current, voltage, and OHMS. Manage material ordering and QAQC documents for active projects. Mentor and support apprentices. Work extended shift structures with travel requirements in various conditions ranging from outdoors to heights. Certified Journeyman Electricians with a Class 5 license are required; H2S and First Aid certifications are assets. Required Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract
- Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed
- Must be willing to travel for work
- Must be able to work extended shift structures
- Applicant must be local or willing to relocate
Desired Qualifications
- Valid H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance
