Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician with at least 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment. The role involves working safely and efficiently on a variety of electrical power systems and process instrumentation controls. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mill-wide electrical systems, contributing to safety and maintenance goals, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, and working from schematics and manufacturer manuals. Candidates should have experience with high-voltage systems and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years Journeyman electrician experience in heavy industrial environment
- Experience with high-voltage (up to 13.8kv)
- Demonstrated competence in heavy industrial continuous-process environment
- Experience in understanding/complying with OSHA regulations and safety codes
- Competence in light mechanical work
Desired Qualifications
- Technical/other training in Electronics Technology
