E-Drive System Engineer

Job Summary
Analyze, coordinate, and resolve complex technical challenges across electrified driveline systems by collaborating with specialists in software, electronics, mechanics, and validation. Lead root-cause investigations for field issues and warranty claims while analyzing system behavior using vehicle and test bench data, including CAN traces, motor performance, and control strategy calibration. Support serial-life engineering, requirement management, and compliance activities through structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma. Ensure alignment between product requirements and operational constraints within multidisciplinary teams. Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive, electrification or advanced mechatronic systems
- Proven experience in system engineering within complex multidisciplinary environments
- Strong understanding of Electric propulsion systems
- Strong understanding of Power electronics
- Strong understanding of Embedded control systems
- Strong understanding of System integration and validation
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex measurement data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
- Occasional travel within Europe to suppliers, manufacturing sites and engineering partners may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Polarion, DOORS or comparable requirements management tools
- Experience with Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape or similar diagnostic environments
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and data analysis platforms
- Experience with FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Experience with Functional Safety principles and ISO 26262 awareness
