Job Summary
The E-commerce Team Member contributes to fast-paced warehouse operations and online item listings for high value donations, including reviewing donations, researching items online, documenting item details, taking item photos, and creating accurate listings to advertise and sell items. Responsibilities include moving material with carts/pallet jacks, sorting merchandise by department standards (including jewelry and precious metals), using the tracking system to label and record items, packaging and shipping sold items, meeting hourly/daily production goals, and providing excellent customer service. Skills emphasized include basic computer skills, strong writing for clear item descriptions with correct grammar and punctuation, ability to multi-task, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety guidelines in a non-climate-controlled environment. The role involves inventory management, quality listing creation, and operating in a warehouse setting with a focus on efficiency and accuracy; no supervisory responsibilities are noted. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multi-task to meet daily production quotas
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand, bend and twist for eight hours
