Job Summary
Responsible for managing online auction listings and related duties for donated goods: writing item descriptions, photographing items, listing on platforms such as shopgoodwill.com and eBay, processing shipments, and providing customer service in a warehouse environment. Tasks include evaluating goods, weighing and labeling packages, preparing listing tickets, and ensuring accuracy and clarity of listings. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly to meet production goals, and familiarity with inventory and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- A combination of education and relevant work experience that aligns with the duties of this position
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient with PCs, including email, Microsoft applications, and internet use
- Strong English writing skills, including grammar and punctuation, to list merchandise for auction
- Comfortable staging merchandise and using digital devices or smart phone for photography
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods, plus bend, lift, and reach often throughout a shift
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of collectibles, antiques, thrifting, and/or collecting strongly preferred
