Job Summary
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for e-commerce initiatives, including creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process maps. Conduct workshops with cross-functional teams to define enhancements for platforms like Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Analyze customer journeys, funnel drops, and conversion metrics to provide insights that improve digital experience and revenue. Collaborate with analytics teams to define dashboards and KPIs while supporting UAT planning, test-case creation, and defect tracking. Act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solution delivery aligns with business expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the E‐commerce / Digital Commerce domain
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Product catalog
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Search & merchandising
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Cart & checkout
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Order lifecycle
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Payments & refunds
- Strong understanding of e‐commerce processes: Promotions & loyalty
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as JIRA
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as Confluence
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as GA4
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as Hotjar
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as Power BI
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with global stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in FMCG/Consumer Goods industry
- Exposure to large enterprise environments
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Hands‐on experience with tools such as Power BI (preferred)
