Job Summary
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce business of Hope Thrift, including processing incoming and outgoing product, enlisting items on various platforms, assisting with shipping/receiving, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, maintaining a neat and secure workspace, and performing additional duties to ensure efficient operations. Requires basic computer skills, ability to communicate professionally, strong problem-solving, independence, and willingness to work with people with disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED
- one-year related work experience or an approved combination of training, work experience and education
- Basic computer skills
- MS Office Suite familiarity
- Ability to communicate professionally in both written and oral forms
- Ability to observe, evaluate, document and communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities
- Ability to relate in a positive, constructive manner with clients, HOPE staff, community and business members
- Ability to work independently, including managing time, prioritizing, completing assignments and following up
- Ability to facilitate systems and checks to assure delivery of quality service and product to internal and external customers
- Willingness to work with people with disabilities; must be patient and understanding
- Environmental conditions awareness and adaptability
