Job Summary
Review project drawings, evaluate technical submittals, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) across multiple renewable energy projects. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to verify compliance with specifications, design requirements, and industry standards. Interpret engineering drawings to ensure installation activities align with approved designs, while monitoring construction compliance and resolving Non-Conformance Reports. Serve as a technical resource for field personnel to clarify design intent and assist with troubleshooting during construction and commissioning phases. Provide both office-based engineering review and field-based support as project needs require. This role supports large-scale solar and wind projects for One Tech Engineering near Earth, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen or hold a green card
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design)
- Previous experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering/design firms supporting renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of or familiarity with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), RFIs (Requests for Information), and the ability to understand, interpret, and manage contract scope
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ProjectWise, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or an Engineers-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred
