Job Summary
On-site at HMI suppliers to support development of HMI components (displays, remotes, connectivity/control units) and lead/debug technical issues; collaborate with Swiss R&D to provide feedback from supplier activities, assist in requirements and documentation, and evaluate new HMI technologies and suppliers in China. Role involves validating integrations, contributing to testing and validation (functional, usability, robustness), and ensuring compliance with technical specifications while driving supplier execution and production quality. Ideal candidate has a background in embedded systems, firmware, and HMI-related development, with strong collaboration across global teams and supplier environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field
- Several years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, or HMI-related development
- Experience with consumer electronics, automotive, or similar industries
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and firmware behavior
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, BLE)
- Experience working with suppliers or in industrialized product environments
- Strong English communication skills
- International work experience is a plus
