Job Summary
Process ACH disputes, returns, chargebacks, IATs, authorization requests, and exception items while ensuring timely same-day transaction processing on a strict schedule. Provide customer service to bank employees regarding ACH services and returns, and assist with fraud detection and research. Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training as assigned. Navigate various banking systems and maintain constant alertness during highly repetitive, low-physical tasks requiring concentration.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area
- 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature
- Must possess a demonstrated ability to navigate various software
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to accomplish work assignments under minimal supervision
- Ability to accomplish work assignments under tight schedules
- Experience with ACH and Banking systems
- Must possess the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NACHA Operating Rules
- Experience with FIS Bankway
