Job Summary
Lead operations and maintenance of the DZ19 galleries, overseeing day-to-day facilities activities and ensuring presentation and safety standards. Supervise the Facilities Assistant, manage vendor and service-provider relationships (HVAC, landscaping, janitorial), coordinate construction/renovation projects, and develop preventive maintenance plans. Support event preparation and logistics for gallery openings, respond to emergencies and outside-of-hours needs, ensure compliance with building codes and safety protocols, manage budgets and supplies, and maintain optimal work environments for staff and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities or building management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing or mentoring staff
- Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety
