Job Summary
Drive well-maintained vehicles to deliver gas products and hardgoods locally, loading and unloading cylinders while balancing load sheets and reconciling inventory balances using handheld technology. Perform administrative duties including entering invoices into SAP, processing telephone orders, and filing documents. Welcome customers, prepare orders, and provide technical support while actively soliciting new sales and upselling to maximize counter sales. Receive vendor shipments, manage inventory levels, and support the Branch Manager in meeting KPIs and safety goals. Maintain vehicles per policy, report hazards, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brakes
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience with recognized driving school training or 3 years driving experience
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- A clean driving abstract
- Ability to handle and lift goods up to 60 lbs.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with computers with the Microsoft Office suite
- Industrial sales skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the gas and/or welding industry
- Experience using handheld electronic devices
- WHMIS/TDG certification
