Job Summary
Dyslexia Teacher delivers a targeted, intensive multisensory phonetic program to students identified with dyslexia and related learning difficulties. Responsibilities include collaborating with students, parents, and staff to develop and implement IEPs through the ARD Committee process; planning and delivering instructional strategies with accommodations; assessing dyslexia and using data to drive instruction; coordinating with 504 plans; modifying curricula per IEP/504; attending ARD/504 planning meetings; selecting instructional materials; supervising instructional aides; maintaining a productive classroom aligned with district policies and TEA guidelines; and ensuring student growth, classroom safety, and professional communication with families and the school community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for assignment
- 3 years teaching experience
