Job Summary
Dyno Technician on 1st shift responsible for end-to-end testing of remanufactured engines: assembling engines for testing, mounting into test cells, connecting fuel/power/coolant/oil; operating dynamometer test runs and monitoring real-time data to ensure results meet specifications; diagnosing performance issues and providing technical troubleshooting; maintaining test cell infrastructure and ensuring calibration of testing instruments; managing testing instrumentation inventory and archiving run logs; adhering to Standard Work instructions and enhancing departmental efficiency and safety; working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with safety PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of mechanical experience in manufacturing or automotive environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Problem solving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical drawings and oral instructions
