Job Summary
Operate dynamometer machines to test transmission units, passing or failing them based on data while monitoring computer systems and graphs. Inspect units for defects, prep them using an overhead crane, and install or remove hoses to process a minimum of four units per hour. Differentiate between normal and abnormal noises, confirm serial numbers against build sheets, and utilize computer systems to monitor workload and shipping orders. Follow established procedures, schedule preventative maintenance on equipment, and suggest improvements to keep the production line running smoothly. Maintain a safe, clean environment and work overtime when needed to meet daily demands.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Previous dyno experience
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to perform computer tasks
- Ability to read measurements, specifications and graphs
- Detail oriented
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times
- Willingness and understanding you will have to work with chemicals
- Skill and ability of working with your hands
