Job Summary
Provide customer support for designated equipment by answering client questions professionally and accepting service calls within established service level agreements. Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and servers while ensuring control of assets and inventory through prompt part turnaround. Complete real-time reporting and all administrative tasks as documented in established policies, adhering to safety guidelines and OEM certifications. Maintain a valid driver's license for on-site and long-distance client visits, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. This senior role at Worldwide TechServices supports global technology providers and outsourcers, requiring timely, accurate responses to technical issues across various client geographies.
Required Qualifications
- technical school certification or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware
- Valid Driver's License
- reliable transportation
- valid registration
- adequate insurance
- Ability to communicate regarding technical issues with clients
- Ability to drive to client locations
- Ability to drive long distances
- occasional overnight assignments within other geographies
- Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a basic repair tool kit
